Small Family Business to Indiana Festival Favorite

Love Nuts didn’t just start as a business, it started as a family tradition.

Years ago, my dad’s uncle ran a small roasted nut stand at local fairs and farmers markets across Indiana. He was a character, always smiling, always experimenting with new flavors, and always had a jar of fresh pecans warming on the stove. What started as a side hobby turned into a local favorite, with loyal customers returning year after year just to grab “Uncle Jerry’s” famous gourmet nuts.

When he decided to hang up the apron, my dad took over. He kept the family recipes alive, added a few new ones of his own, and carried on the legacy, one slow-roasted batch at a time. I grew up beside the roaster, learning the craft, cracking jokes, and occasionally burning a few almonds.

Eventually, I stepped in to help grow the business, bringing our small-batch roasted nuts to fall festivals all across Indiana. With my military background and my family's deep roots in this trade, we rebranded with a name that fit us perfectly: Love Nuts, because everything we roast is done with love, pride, and a little bit of family nuttiness.

Today, we’re still roasting the same way we always have, one batch at a time, by hand, with quality ingredients and a whole lot of heart. Whether you're trying our nuts for the first time or stopping by our booth like you have for years, you’re part of the Love Nuts family.
